🌍 Living a childhood in Puerto Rico, youth and adulthood in Germany and now for +20 years in Spain, have made me – out of pure necessity – adaptable, open to and for change and the corresponding challenges.
🧠 As a so-called polymath, I learn by creating. With a family background in on-stage arts (thanks Mom) and hands-on technologies (thanks Dad), I’m wired to pay attention to the relationship between aesthetic and functional possibilities.
🫁 Speaking, singing, dancing, creating and capturing images, writing and coding is the air I breath because they all are beautiful and useful to me.
😍 I appreciate and capitalize on the potential of people in their diversity. I am able to make people feel good about themselves, capable and appreciated, which has helped me to obtain excellent results in leading teamwork. I practice active listening and non-violent communication in all areas. Volunteering in programming with young people opened my eyes and heart to an affinity with accompanying learning. In short, I’m into soft skills.
😎 Satisfaction for me is the fruit of steady involvement. In the many companies I co-founded, I learned the importance of reading both people and opportunities when they present themselves, as well as when they do not. I respond to everything.
I’m also known by my birth name: Adrián Ortiz Arandes
